Level up your braiding skills this summer with Dark Shugar's hottest camps for teens. Choose your vibe: kick off with "Summer Starter Camp" (June 16–July 11, 4 weeks) to master the basics, or jump straight into "Boss Braider Camp" (July 28–August 15, 3 weeks) to perfect advanced techniques.
We will be going through Foundations such as Hair hygiene, Natural hair basics, Detangling, Moisturizing, Parting techniques, Straight-back cornrows, Basic plaits and Neat parting practice
Elevate your Braiding skills through Feed-in techniques, Knotless basics, Extension blending, Sectioning methods and Client comfort
Finally, we will be equipping you with boss Entrepreneurial skills to start or grow a business including topics like Salon etiquette, Customer service, Taking pictures/videos, Pricing basics, Hygiene/sanitation and Building confidence
We will be meeting Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Whether you're 12–15 or 16–19, you'll get hands-on training in natural hair care, trending braid styles, and pro techniques.
Every session includes your braiding kit, mannequin head, premium hair products, workbook, snacks, and a mini graduation celebration. Plus, we're capturing group content and photos so you can flex your new skills on the 'gram.
